Kovalam, India. One thing about India is that if you're an artist, you're seen as one-step away from being a god. For whatever reason, if an Indian sees you painting, they WILL do everything then can to get close to you, watch you paint and give them advice. I don't know what it is but it's a fact.

On this day, two 16 and 18 yr old kids came up to me and watched me paint. By now, I'm used to it and don't freak out. The one 18 yr old is especially interested in watching me paint and reminds me of my son Kit. He says to me, "The lighthouse not right"... I'm like, "What?"... I offer him a go with my brush and he messes it up royally. I'm remember saying to myself, "whatever, let the kid enjoy the moment and don't acknowledge he messed it up, try to fix it best I can". So I did what I could. I then got to talking with him and I asked him his dreams... ambitions and whatnot. He told me he wanted to be a professional football (aka soccer) player and said he wanted to start a business but had no money. After spending an hour with him, I gave him equivalent to $20 US (average indian makes $6 USD per month) and said, "go start your business and change the world". India is a special place.
